Challenging ourselves to do things better
lies at the heart of everything we do.
At Virgin Bet, we’re rewriting the odds. We believe that betting can be a force for good. And that good can be poured back into sports communities across the country, to make sports more accessible for all, and give all the unsung heroes in and around them get the recognition they deserve.
Your safety and well-being are our top priority
We allocate a minimum of 30% of radio airtime to responsible gambling. Plus, we go beyond industry norms by 10% with our digital platforms, making sure they are dedicated to promoting safer gambling.
ELEVATING SPONSORED EVENTS BY GIVING BACK TO LOCAL COMMUNITIES
Every month, since 2023, we have been committing our profits from at least one sponsored race to local charities. By working closely with racecourses across the country we identify organisations that do great work in local communities and continue to support them in their efforts.
NO-NONSENSE OFFERS WE'RE PROUD OF
We’re committed to giving our customers exceptional rewards. Whether it’s through industry-leading betting promotions or accessing the wider Virgin family and taking advantage of exclusive offers, we want you to live a life more Virgin.
INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION OF WOMEN IN HORSE RACING
In the world of horse racing, countless remarkable women contribute to its spectacle, yet their invaluable roles are often overlooked. At Virgin Bet, we’re passionate about making sports more inclusive and shining a spotlight on the extraordinary individuals within the industry. To throw our support behind this initiative, we launched our inaugural ‘Women’s Day’ at Ayr Racecourse in March 2024. This event was open to all and reflected our mission, ‘A Good Bet’, dedicated to breaking barriers in sports and culture.
Elevating sponsored events by giving back to local communities
Since September 2023 we have committed our profits from at least one sponsored race per month to charity. Each month we work with racecourses to identify organisations that do great work in local communities.
We have also elevated the ‘Best Turned Out’ award, a prize gifted to the groom of the horse which has been best prepared before the race, by increasing the winner’s prize money to £100 for all Virgin Bet sponsored races, plus all winning grooms are then entered into a draw for a chance to win a £500 retail voucher. On top of this, we have introduced groom runner-up prizes for all horses entered in the feature race of the meeting. Why? Because we want to shout about the un-sung heroes in horse racing, pushing the industry to do more to recognise the hard work that goes on behind the scenes helping to make these brilliant events.
